JOURNAL
Journal of Multi-Sensory Environments
A scholarly and reflective journal of practice, The Journal of Multi-Sensory Environments invites researchers, practitioners, caregivers, educators, designers, and families to share insights that deepen our understanding of sensory engagement, companionship, and quality of life.
While we welcome peer-reviewed scholarly articles, we also believe that meaningful knowledge often emerges from reflection, practice, and lived experience. For this reason, the journal intentionally creates space for both academic work and thoughtful reflections from the field.
Our aim is to cultivate a global community of learning where research, practice, and personal insight can inform one another.

A Welcoming Invitation
Not every contribution needs to be a formal academic paper. We welcome insightful reflections, thoughtful questions, and meaningful stories from practice that can inspire learning within our global community.
If you have an idea you would like to share but are unsure if it fits a traditional academic format, we encourage you to reach out to the editorial team. We are happy to work with contributors to help shape ideas into a format that can benefit others.
